There has been a ongoing debate about the job satisfaction and job stability, some people think that to love your job is more important, on the contrary, many believe that having a stable job is of more importance, whether you love it or not. This essay will discuss both aspects along with my personal opinion.
Let us first discuss the benefits of having a job that you love to go every single day. You will not feel like you are working if this is the case. Usually, the things you do in your day to day life, which gives you a sense of happiness and joy, does not feel like a burden over a longer period of time. You tend to improve as well in that particular filed as time progresses, which gives you opportunities for promotion in your company. Having a job that you love to do is a dream for many people, as most of them can’t figure out, what are they good at and what career they want to pursue.
While on the other hand, if you are working in a company and doing monotonous tasks every single day, will not give you sense of fulfillment from within. Many people go on to pursue such kind of job roles, as they know that they do not have to worry about layoffs, which has been a serious ongoing issue in today’s competitive job market. This kind of tendency is more seen in the middle class working people, who do not have any generational wealth or any other means of support in case they lose their job and are not able to find for a long time.
To conclude, it is good to prioritize job security, but one should consider working out their passion and then try to work in that particular field which I believe is more rewarding and beneficial.
