Band 7+: Science tell us which activities are good for our health and which ones are bad for us. Despite knowing this, million of people still do activities which are bad for them Why is this the case? What can be done to change it?

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

In a modern society, many scientists tell us which activities are beneficial for our health and which are harmful for us. Although they know this, many people still engage in such activities. This can be attributed to many people choosing the wrong friends and some children becoming addicted to modern technology. However, this phenomenon can be addressed by the government promoting a healthy lifestyle and parent’s control over their children’s lives.

One primary cause is that many people choose the wrong friends, this situation is harmful to their lives. This is because having the wrong friends leads people to engage in harmful activities such as drinking alcohol, smoking cigarettes and committing crimes. Not only is this trend harmful for their lives and future but it also creates various health issues like high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease and liver cirrhosis.

Another significant factor is that some children are addicted to modern technology and use these devices for the wrong purposes. As a result, they suffer from various diseases such as eye problems, spend much less time with their family, and they are suffering financial losses. For example, many children use various online platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Twitter, where they see a lot of advertisements promising easy ways to earn money. Consequently, they want to make money through these methods. They place bets on 1xBet and, due to their impulsive behaviour, can end up losing large amounts of money.

When it comes to possible solutions, the government should take several measures to address this problem. The governing bodies could encourage people to adapt a healthy lifestyle by providing more information about the harmful effects of smoking and alcohol consumption. In addition, parents should closely monitor their children’s use of technology and educate them about its potential dangers.

In conclusion, nowadays many people choose the wrong friends and some children are addicted to modern technology. As a result, they commit crimes, smoke cigarettes and drink alcohol, suffer from various health issues such as heart disease, high blood pressure and face financial losses. Therefore, I suggest that the government should promote a healthy lifestyle and each parent should monitor their children’s use of technology.
