In today’s interconnected world, there is an ongoing debate whether online learning replaces traditional learning or not. Some people advocate that e-learning will be the next world leading education system as it provides accessibility without any barriers. Others contend that conventional learning promotes face-to-face interaction, which is indispensable. This issue will examine both sides of the argument before concluding.
On the one hand, proponents of online learning often argue that it will displace classroom learning since it provides widespread availability and access to educational resources. In other words, the rapid proliferation of resources on the internet assists individuals to gain profound knowledge and their field of interest without any geographical barriers.
On the other hand, proposers of classroom learning believe traditional system is pivotal because it ensures interaction between tutors and students with foster social cohesion. Furthermore, the school provides subject-based curricular, structured and well-organized environment for learning and also promotes extracurricular activities such as sports and social campaigns, resulting in the holistic growth of students as well as enhanced discipline. For example, if an individual studies from in-person learning, it not only helps on academic development but also augments in behavior and social connection.
In conclusion, while online education has several benefits such as convenience and easy accessibility of resources and interconnection between peers in one platform, traditional method ensures interactive learning which is essential for overall growth. Therefore, in my opinion, hybrid approach-where students have access to all online resources in in-person classroom-will be an effective way of learning.
