Some individuals think the reason why humans are poor is the insufficient opportunities or resources, while others say people are poor because they are unmotivated or lacking a strong work ethic. Many believe that only hard work can guarantee people success, while others disagree and think opportunities and monetary status influence this. It really depends on a lot of things. It is for this reason my viewpoint is inclined towards the second group for its tremendous upsides.
On the other hand, hard work can increase your probability of being rich in the future. For instance, Cristiano Ronaldo is probably the most popular football player in the world, and he said everything he achieved in football is because of his industriousness. Furthermore, all sportsmen whom people think are the greatest of all time, like Michael Jordan and Muhammad Ali, also admire their success as coming from hard work. Hence, this approach has its own specific advantages, but I am of the opinion that the disadvantages outweigh them.
On the other hand, it all depends on chances, assets, the society in which you live, and also luck. For example, Bill Gates, the creator of Microsoft, came from a very rich family. He also studied at Harvard University, which was the main reason why he became the richest person in the world. Therefore, I do not totally endorse this opinion because there are more arguments, and they are more convincing.
In conclusion, both viewpoints contain advantages but I unequivocally support the introduction that being rich depends on people’s capital and opportunities. I am of the opinion that becoming a millionaire or successful requires circumstances to turn out well.
