Some individuals think that wealthy countries should support developing countries with non-financial aid. I totally agree, because non-financial aid, such as technical assistance and education contributes to a great development.
The main reason is that help that is not financial, as technical assistance can help poorer countries to build their infrastructure for a long term. Building objects as roads, bridges or power grids not only improves infrastructure of a country, but also it can enhance citizen’s quality of life by providing access to basic services such as water and electricity. In addition, there is another significant aspect of technical assistance such as technology. Rich countries can provide advanced technologies that poorer countries may not develop. For instance, renewable energy technologies as solar panels or wind power can solve problems of lack of energy, and modern medical equipment can improve health care. Thus, technical assistance can be a useful tool a long term development.
Another essential factor in favour of assisting less developed countries with not financial aid as education is innovation and economic growth. Offering scholarships, exchange programs or training programs can improve skills of individuals. As a result, this can lead to a sustainable development and innovation. For instance, agricultural training programs may help farmers to learn new, modern techniques and thus, increasing crop yields. Moreover, educated residents then can start a business and this can lead to new discoveries and opportunities for manufacturing. Such kind of knowledge and consequences of education can be beneficial and long lasting.
In conclusion, I absolutely believe that well developed countries should provide non-financial aid such as technical support and training for less industrialized countries.
