People have different views about whether teachers should set a home assignment .Although in some ways it may seem better when pupils are not given hometasks,I support the idea which expresses giving homework
There are several reasons why some individuals argue that homework is a waste of time for children.First of all , according to some scientists , homework has a harmful effect for childrenʼs brains .They spent a long period of time at school studying their subjects and it may be unacceptable for childrenʼs mind to do homework after school.This can results in having a headache or temperature.Another demerit is that many parents say homework does nothing to improve childrenʼs comprehension.Furthermore, many countries where teachers donʼt give home assignments to pupils at school are popular with their educational teaching system.Take Finland,for example.They donʼt give tasks to school children which should be done at home but people who studied there are one of the best in their field.
Another side of the coin is that homework is beneficial in some ways and I still agree with them.Firstly,children can broaden their horizons by doing homework .What I mean by this is that they can solve problems and make good decisions when they are in a difficult position or in a dilemma.Secondly,homework can remind and ensure the theme which is taught by teachers to school children if they do their homework.They can cement themes by solving mathematical exercises or writing essays.
In conclusion,giving homework may be a waste of time according someoneʼs view,I still support to do so
