While there is an ongoing debate whether schools considered to offer preparation for different career prospects, in my opinion, schools are a key to global opportunities. However, I also believe that schools should also mainly pay attention to children’s academic journey.
On the one hand, many students hoped to a favorable outcome of their studies and continue their studies in high level universities. As a result, students could cultivate their careers and tend to have high salaries. Preparing students for such things could open paths to global opportunities. This can affect not only children’s life but also schools’ prestige. For example, if there are so many students that works in high-quality companies of the world, there will be a lot of parents that want their kids study in those schools.
On the other hand, paying so much attention on only academic process could ignore and reduce student’s interests and passions. However, a major level of universities require high-level standards of international exams. As a result, the probability to get into Ivy League universities would be higher. But it also can lead to problems such as being overwhelmed by studies ane burnout from overstudying. Therefore, it could effect for student’s enthusiasm for the studies.
In conclusion, there are valid arguments for both sides. Preparations for career prospects can provide a favorable outcome, but it also may have drawbacks. Therefore, focusing on academical achievements can lead to success. However, this can lead to several types of problems such as being overwhelmed by studies.
