In one hand, it has negative impression on society, on other hand, it has positive impression. In my opinion, social media has both advantages and disadvantages, but it depends on certain people how the digital platforms will be used.
One of the key statements to prove that online platforms bad effects are creating and sharing unwanted videos and comments, which makes adults and younger children to go through it. In addition to this, many people from children to senior citizens spend most of their time in social networking, which makes people avoid their other things to do such as spending time and networking in real-time . Therefore, social media brings a greater negative impression on people.
On the other hand, people argue that virtual network connect people because people can communicate with each other, who are at the other side of the world. Additionally, people get their support through online networking, which makes people to avoid travel and other expenses. For instance, a study shows people gain 33% more support from virtual network when compared to real time network. Hence, social media connects people and have easy way of communication and support.
In conclusion, while digital platforms have both favorable and unfavorable conditions, which impacts people, in my opinion, the usage of virtual networks relies on each professional or individual.
