This trend is predominantly visible in high-school students, who often utilise ChatGPT to complete their homework as much as possible. Such overreliance on artificial intelligence can affect the cognitive and intellectual developments of students, turning them into passive learners incapable of independent thought.
I am of the opinion that AI would likely be a double-edged sword to schoolchildren’s productivity and efficiency. While it offers an efficient way to broaden their horizons, it can simultaneously undermine their mindset and critical thinking abilities if misused.
