In recent years, the issue of reaching success has become increasingly controversial. Some people believe that success in life mostly depends on how well you worked, while others argue that there are several factors to get success in life – luck and personal connections are main features. This essay will discuss both sides of the argument before I give my own opinion.
One of the main reasons why some people support hard working is that it can make you feel confident and encourages personal development. For example, in international exams like IELTS, it is often hard to get a high score, so if you work hard, you will get the expected score.
On the other hand, those who argue against hard working believe that luck and personal connections are crucial for success. They contend that sometimes simple luck can change life. Additionally, personal connections also play a role, especially when you are looking for a job. People with low job classification often rely on personal relationships.
In conclusion, while both sides of the argument have valid points, I firmly believe that hard work is essential to reach success. This is because luck doesn’t always accompany us, and sometimes we have to rely only on ourselves.
