In our contemporary world, the growing discourse about road security has garnered considerable attention. Some individuals think that the most effective method to address this issue is to adjust the appropriate age for driving more. I partly agree with this statement for several contributors that will be clearly elucidated in this following essay.
On the one hand, increasing the legal driving age creates a secure environment for road users. Young people are usually not educated thoroughly, especially individuals that are experiencing puberty – the most unstable period. Therefore, there are potential risks if the government gives them the driving lisence too early when they are not responsible enough. For instance, in Viet Nam, the appropriate age for using a motorbike is 16. As a result, a huge amount of teenagers who are not well-educated start to hold some competitive and horrendously dangerous races, directly jeopardizing the well-being of local residents. However, when considering all the views, that is not the best approach for authorities to minimize the road accidents.
On the other hand, ameliorating the road systems as well as the overall infrastructure should be concentrated with a view to achieving the comprehensive safety. According to studies, impoverished road conditions are the main elements for a colossal amount of accidents since they directly harm the drivers if they are not extremely careful. Therefore, authorities should have well-structured plans in order to fix or improve the quality of the system. Additionally, in many nations, congestions are annoying since they can cause accidental issues due to the fact that people elbow each other at peak hours. Indeed, expanding the road will be an appropriate sustainable approach because it not only enhances the road users’experience but also makes streets and roadways look monumental.
In conclusion, increasing the legal age for using transportations is a considerable method for the welfare of residents because people who are not well-educcated will no longer have the opportunity to drive. Notwithstanding, the government should pay attention to create planned approaches such as fixing issues on roads and expanding them properly, directly minimizing dozens of risks in the future.
