It is believed that the increasement of teacher’s wages can as improve the overall quality of education, while other people argue additional factors are still more important compared to the way of increasing teachers’ salaries. This essay will consider both these viewpoints while proposing the ideas of enchancing overall quality of education through an engagement in teacher’s adaptability skills.
The way of increasing teachers’ wages as not a new thing to consider. It has been implemented in many places around the world for the past decades. However, average studies show the result of the salaries method are not crucially improve the quality of education. To illustrate, Indonesia had impelemented this idea in several provincies idea back in 2016, showing no significant results in the global countries education index ranking. Increasing wages gained by the educational workers are not a suitable idea to implement due to the reason that it just affecting the teachers themself, not correlating with the students.
The other idea is by reconsidering improvement in supplementary aspects that influence the teachers’ itselfs, which is believed to be more effective than just improving the teachers’ income. One clear example is by providing teachers with a proper educational training can impact their ability in teaching-and-teached activities. Furthermore, if the teachers able to explain the material discussed deeply connected to their students, then the students will able to gain more informations through the lesson.
To sum up, the ways to improve the quality in education is not limited by several methods. There are many ways to be explored through an active research by the goverment. I disagree with the idea of increasing the teacher’s wages, since it is not highly enough evidence to conclude that education workers’ income are the key factor to a better educational system.
