For better educational standards, a few people think that raising teacher’s pay might be effective. On the other hand different factors have more positive impact.
Teachers who are generally paid more tend to be more productive during their duty hours. They being the backbone of our society play a vital role in developing and nourishing new brains. Better salary means they are more financially stable and thus have less depression and anxiety which can lead to better proficiency in classrooms. Teachers with the role they play in our society can never be appreciated enough. Giving them a handsome salary is the least amount of favour we can do.
Salary although important, is not the most precious factor in determining the quality of education. Proper training and academic background is equally important if not more. A proper selection criteria should be established to easily filter out potent teachers. Interviewers going into trivial details can really bring out critical thinking which a teacher must possess. Experience in field of education might be the most underlooked attribute a teacher can have. Like these there are alot of other properties which a teacher can achieve. Another field to be mended is school infrastructure. Vibrant and spacious classrooms really elevate the mood of a student hence having a positive impact on their learning ability.
In conclusion there is no one thing which plays a role solely in better educational standard. There are a bunch of factors which collectively together create an environment perfect to deliver top notch education.
