In today’s society, some individuals endorse the view that creating a high level of happiness in the world is achieved if the wealthy distances of citizens are minimal. Personally, I partly agree with this school of thought due to some major reasons that are explained in this essay.
On the one hand, there are some rationales that explain why reducing the range of income could lead to a cheerful world. Obviously, there is a belief that the salary reflects the position of the person in society, which increases the hostility among members of society. In other words, the thing that diminishes the distance between the richest and poorest individuals is highly recommended to manufacture a happier humanity. Moreover, impoverished adults may be exposed to better healthcare services and foods, resulting in better diets and eventually boosting their satisfaction in an equal world.
On the other hand, some people argue about whether only erasing the wealth distance can increase the satisfaction among citizens in today’s society. Humanity’s happiness is proven to be a combination of plenty of factors, such as work satisfaction, housing price, and their relationship. While the government only enhances the average salary among employees, it may degrade other cheerful aspects, leading to a failure to ensure a quality of living in their country. For instance, when an employee receives a higher salary, it does not mean that they will have a better relationship with their love or more simply only their health. Therefore, the authorities should invest more attention in the quality of living, since completely removes the irritation of society.
In conclusion, although there is a mixed view about the satisfaction of people in the world, I firmly believe that it depends on individuals’ perception and the demands of life they want.
