Reducing crime is one of the global tension to feel secure. However, some believes that best possible way to reduce is to give longer prison sentences whereas some believe that there are serveral more alternatives. This essay would examine both views with my opinion
In one hand, many people thinks the best possible way to reduce crime is to give longer prison sentences just to feel secure mentally and emotionally, In my opinion, it can be positive as criminals should be punished hard for thier criminal activities. However, longer prison sentences will make criminal family suffer in a negative way but that will play essential role in crime reduction
In other hand, there are serveral alternative solutions to reduce the crime. Firstly, Government and NGOs can spread awareness through social media platforms, they can use infulencers as campign. In addition, most important solution to reduce crime can be to spread education among all which will result into educated society, for instance education from early ages can shape individual will good moral values
Moreover, the basic reason for crime is unavailblity of basic needs such as food, shelter,a good career which should be subsidized by country’s government which will direcly create impact in crime reduction.
In conclusion, reducing crime is very crucial task to make society secure. As a result, all mentioned alternative solutions can be used for reducing criminal activities
