Some individuals hold the opinion that the effective way to diminish the environmental crisis is by increasing the price of various fuels, whereas others opine that there are other different ways in which this problem can be solved. This essay will discuss both views and express my viewpoint on this matter.
To begin with, every day thousands or millions of vehicles are being built, and most of them are powered by fuel as a result it affects various environmental issues such as global warming and pollution. Therefore, increasing the fuel price contributes to the less use of vehicles. For instance, in India, about 10 tonnes of greenhouse gases are released within a year, later which affects global warming and other climatic changes. The limited use of these vehicles will later achieve the goal, and as a result, a pollution-free environment can be found.
However, limiting the use of vehicles will certainly affect people’s lives. If they rely more on public transport, carpooling, electric vehicles, and other means can greatly reduce the environmental issues. For example, many European countries are adopting the use of electric vehicles and cycles as their mode of transportation, therefore there is less pollution compared to India.
I believe that the increasing fuel price would not change anything, there will only be more problems like economic instability. Moreover, the big multinational companies that use factories for producing goods are more likely to cause pollution, if they are not controlled then the environment cannot be saved.
In conclusion, reducing the use of vehicles in a great extent will limit the production of pollution, however, it will have detrimental effects on people, so switching to electric vehicles and public transport will be a great help and by controlling the companies producing the waste materials from factories will certainly help in the amount of pollution in the environment.
