Several individuals think that governments must increase the expenditure for venturing into outer space. However, while I consider that it will not be worth the budget and the risk, I disagree that it will be beneficial for us.
Studying about outer space will consume a lot of money. The main resources that will support the research is money, rather than using it for the things that we do not know the result, it will be better if we use it for something more beneficial such as helping the unfortunate and minimizing the climate change effects. Besides that, natural resources will be exploited to build the spaceship and other tools. Whereas, building the spaceship will cost many rare materials that hard to extract and sometime dangerous for the environment.
Furthermore, there is no urge for us to explore the outer space for now, since we have not yet known the earth as a whole. The earth still keeping many secrets that we do not know, by discovering it more deeply it can be more beneficial, thus the things inside our world are more visible and accessible. Hence, it will be more practical for us to take the things that we just discovered if it is located in our reach.
To sum up, although discovering the outer space may provide benefit for us, but the resources that will be demanded is not worth the benefits. Apart from that, venturing the earth and use the budget to help others claimed to be more advantageous.
