Several people assume that the government should provide free healthcare for all citizens because healthcare is a basic human right and should not be dependent on a person’s ability to pay. I personally agree with this statement to some extent, and I will explain why in my essay.
On the other hand, it is true that providing free healthcare for all citizens may bring drawbacks. Firstly, if all people is easy going to the hospital when their body is unwell, the doctor or the hospital staff will be busy and even crowded condition. This situation will create difficulties and problems. Moreover, it might be said that the government can not pay the cost. Even the government can pay that, it must reduce some budget of area strategic such as the education budget, the transportation budget, the poverty budget. If this step is forced, it will make a new problem.
On the other hand, there are some benefits on implementing this program. First, citizen health level will increase rapidly. This is because people will go to hospital when their body is unwell without confusing money. Moreover, when many people feel healthy, they will be spirit on the working so that many families will have a happiness live such as eating with good food quality, paying school bill, et cetera.
To sum up, it seems to me that healthcare is a basic human right is worth implementing because of the positive impact which citizens is received, but not for all citizens, I think only people who need to pay such as an unemployment, poverty, et cetera.
