Artificial Intelligence has been shaking the world since when it was launched. At first, people have perceived AI as an incredible, useful technology with no destructive features. Whether it was or not, AI has started to become an unavoidable aspect of our lives. Moreover, AI has started to be used in notable fields such as education, health or industry. Today, AI assistant applications are at the top of most downloaded lists and AI is being used in many fields frequently. Although some experts believe the rapid rise of AI is a golden chance to solve global issues, a considerable number of experts develop serious concerns about the future of AI.
Firstly,in medicine, AI can be used in operations if patients allow it. Although surgeons dedicate themselves to proceed successfully, sometimes exhaustion due to numerous hours of working affects them negatively or they can make mistakes because they are human. However, AI needs very little rest and can minimize errors with information capacity humans have never preceded. Moreover, AI can lower workloads as it is able to summarize collected data of patient doctors or support doctors with suggestions in both addressing and treating illnesses. Some concerns about data privacy are considerable but improving healthcare worldwide is more crucial than data privacy.
Secondly, AI can provide a user-friendly tracking system in either individuals and businesses transactions. Even more, AI can save commercials from an economic collapse with strong suggestions. Furthermore, root analysis which is made by AI can help people to obtain great financial results in their business.
Finally, developed concerns about AI mainly due to centralized power of AI. Some people believe AI will drive us to be superhuman without feelings and emotions. Recent developments in genetics also make this argument more convincing. I have no doubt that as long as we take AI under our control, no issue will be emerging. Nevertheless, as humankind we ensure that AI only acquires what we teach in order to be beneficial for society.
In conclusion, I believe that AI will be a useful tool for centuries in variable fields. I think that developing AI will be crucial for humankind regardless. Major issues might be solved by artificial intelligences rather than people because of their significant amount of data.
