In an increasingly globalized world, it is often argued whether social media has simplified our everyday life or given rise to new difficulties. Although the critics of this idea may assert that it can lead to addiction, health issues, and decreased face-to-face interaction, I strongly believe that advantages of technology is far more important than its drawbacks.
On the one hand, those who oppose social media think that it leads to several major concerns. First and foremost, obsession has become one of the most pressing challenges facing modern society. Online platform addiction reduces productivity because individuals, especially students spend excessive time scrolling instead of doing something benficial, such as studying or working. For instance, the irresponsible use of technology can negatively affect their overall well-being and long-term consequences for their lives. As a result, we will create a passive and irresponsible generation that is unable to contribute meaningfully to the national economy due to the misuse of advanced technology instead of using it responsibly and with greater caution.
On the other hand, a certain proportion of the community believes that it is largely beneficial for out development. Firstly, it has revolutionazed global communication by enabling people connect instantly across vast distances. Individuals can exchange messages through messaging apps, videocalls, and others. In addition, it also provides access to educational content and networking opportunities, thereby enhancing digital literacy and collaboration skills. As a result, the younger genration will undoubtedly benefit from such powerful digital tools andand use them to enhance thir knowledge and skills.
In conclusion, although digital platforms like Tik Tok and Instagram leads to major problems, I firmly believe that it benefits society if used responsibly outweigh its disadvantages.
