Education system measures different methods to check the performance of students where some people believe that it can be done through taking exams while some prefers to take continuous tests.In my opinion both of them are effective in their owns ways in order to assess pupils.
On the one hand, Examinations have several advantages.Firstly through this students will be able to learn things faster Like if we talk about a class having 1st and final term exams in both term students will have time to cover the sallybus as well as knows that how much time they required to prepare for their exams.This thing make it easier for the schools and universities to able to know about how theirs students are going in their studies.
On thw other hand,by taking continuous assessments will make a clear picture for the students to know about how much prepared they are for the finals.Due to this handwriting of the children also get improved in results, attempting the final exams with great handwriting as well as brilliant scores.Moreover, teacher also get a chance to know about which student need more attention in which part of subject after knowing their weaknesses she/he will be able to cover all those weaknesses before the annual term.
In my opinion both of them are perfect according to the condition but relying on one of it is not an ideal decision.Examination are useful for measuring academic in fair and consistent way. If we apply both things in every educational institution as firstly assessment to be done and than the 1st term and same for the final term it will enhance students skills and qualities more and provide more fair evaluation for students
