A segment of society holds the belief that the best way to experience a nation with its cultural life must be traveling alone, yet others argue that traveling together with family or friends is better. This essay would attempt to discuss both viewpoints with my opinion, and I agree that traveling with acquaintances is better.
At the outset, a couple of travelers believes that visiting numerous novel places on their own is better since it can give them more freedom and help them improve their independence. Firstly, experiencing a new country or culture alone may assist visitors to own a private space for them that does not have any restrictions. They can go wherever they want, without goals, without plans and even without argument. In addition, such a view can boost travelers’ independence which is one of the most crucial factors for their lives. For example, my sibling who was always relying on her parents took a three-year trip abroad alone to study, but when she returns to Vietnam, she is like a different person, doing almost all the household chores without helping.
Nevertheless, I would agree with the viewpoint which argues that traveling to new areas with family or friends is a safer way due to the fact that it can enhance relationships and decrease risks during the trip. The first is that numerous travelers with people they know visiting other places together can greatly boost various relationships. If coming to a novel region such as a foreign nation with colleagues, a person can talk more with colleagues and become closer with them. Moreover, there are a lot of risks that travelers can encounter during the trip, so if traveling together, they can rarely face such risks. For instance, my aunt along with my uncle has taken a trip to Ho Chi Minh City, which is a large southern city in Vietnam, and had trouble renting a hotel room, but my uncle has a friend who has a house there, and he allows this spouse to stay in his house.
In conclusion, traveling to a number of novel areas on their own can give travelers more freedom and boost their independence, yet I still agree with the opinion that visiting various places with family or friends is better and safer.
