It is widely argued that universities should focus only on academic subjects, while others think they should also teach practical skills such as cooking, financial management, and communication. while this issue has both advantages and disadvantages. I strongly believe that colleges must focus on the education subject rather than manual skills. This essay will discuss the main reasons before reaching a logical conclusion.

Firstly, on of the most important reasons is the occupations in this century depend on your academic level.This is because they need to check if are qualified for this job or not. For instance, many people who want to get appoint in a espsefic job they inculd there diploma and certificates on there civ. As a result this will enhance there opportunity to get a certain employment .In addition, most of jobs requirements need a high education level.

Secondly, another significant point why advocates of the practical skills wanted these skills to be taught is to develop the student charcater . This means that if the student faced situation he will be able to deal with it. For example, by communication you can get whatever you by persuading the person in fornt of you that’s a fundamental skill. There it will make your life much easier.

In conclusion, after considering both sides, I believe that universities focus only on academic subjects because they are more valuable than practical skill.Overall, it is clear that academic subjects had more benefits than the daily skills especially in our generation which all companies and others chances many jobs require a academic qualifications.
