In recent years, there has been much discussion about gender equality and women’s roles in society. While some individuals think that women should be treated equally in areas such as police force or military, others argue that they will not fit the requirements of the job. This essay will not only focus on discussing both of the viewpoints but also state my own perspective.
On the one hand, some people think that in particular sectors like the military, women don’t need to be assigned physical missions as soldiers but they can work as supporters. For example, they can be a nurse, a chef or even a manger, which is also a very important role. As soon as they are well-trained, they are likely to complete their job without any trouble. Therefore, there will be no doubt in their abilities, even though they are women.
On the other hand, these kinds of jobs may require good physical and mental health, which might be not easy to every women. It is widely known that men and women have a lot of biological differences, which can lead to difficulties for female employees in some situations. For instance, a nurse might need to take care of patients all night so that and might feel very exhausted. Additionally, in some countries, there are still criticism among toward women, and it has a big effect on women’s careers.
In my opinion, I believe that women should be able to work in any sectors, as long as their abilities have been qualified. Government also need to raise public awareness about gender equality, so that no one will be criticized in the future.
