The world is governed by the motive of love, hunger and money. It is believed by a part of population that the self-gained income should not be given to the government rather it should be kept by themselves. Although, I disagree with this notion.
On one hand, an individual may want to save the hard-earned money for his upbringing and family. He will always want to deposit the cash. This is because he struggles so that his family might live with better living standards. Also, people believe that the facilities provided are not up to the mark despite the taxation system. It creates a feeling of dissatisfaction. An illustration of this can be frequent sewage leaks and troughs on the roads that disturb the everyday routine of a plethora of people in many ways.
However, in my opinion, tax plays a pivotal role and plays a crucial role in creating huge economic developments. Firstly, the tax that is collected by the state is consumed for the betterment of the infrastructure. For instance, constructing roads and bridges of good quality will provide better connectivity of a place. Eventually, people along with the state, will flourish. Secondly, the tax collection procedure will reduce the economic gap prevailing in society. The government can provide various schemes and facilities for the economically backward section through the taxes paid by wealthier people. Free education provided in some government schools and free health checkups can be considered as some examples of public welfare schemes.
In conclusion, even though people believe that saving money for future generations and not paying it in the form of tax is a remarkable decision, it is not. Moreover, taxation is a fund used to generate more comfortable basic amenities and eradicate the economic imbalance among the public.
