“The vast majority of individuals believe that people who read books can construct more imagination and that it can be a reason to improve language skills; however, some people prefer watching TV instead of reading books. While sometimes watching TV can be beneficial to gain more experience, I believe that reading books not only includes developing imagination but is also beneficial to us in improving our other skills.
On the one hand, watching TV can give us more experience than reading books. It is true, sometimes reading books can be boring, especially when we’re exhausted. Watching TV not only gives us experience but also can be a reason for resting after hard work or after some complicated events. Furthermore, this habit can save our valuable time. Reading books takes much time to understand—weeks, months, or even a year. For example, one week ago I finished the book ‘Maze Runner.’ In fact, it is a bigger book, which includes 300 more pages. It took 2 months to understand.On the other hand, I watched this book’s film, and it took almost 2 hours and was memorable. As a result, regarding some advantages, watching TV can be beneficial.
On the other hand, people who read a lot of books are the real owners of greater imagination and active brain function. In point of fact, when we read books, we start imagination in our brain. Consequently, it can cause active brain function. When our brain will tireless, we can make wisdom decisions or choices. Secondly, in some ways, producers make their films with unreliable informations because they want to capture or engage viewers with exciting episodes. As a result, it can be a reason for misinformation. If we read books, we know about original phenomenon. For instance, I read the book ‘1984,’ and when I watched a film of the book, I also watched some missing scenes or some additional episodes. Moreover, millions of years ago, individuals learned other languages by reading books. The reason for that is they had no teacher or any electronic devices. This means that if we read more foreign countries’ books, we can become linguistic people.
In conclusion, it is true that in some cases, watching TV is a great option to understand fully, but I completely believe that reading books has more benefits in comparison with watching TV.”
