Some individuals derive pleasure from visiting large cities, while others favor tranquil, serene locations. This essay will examine both perspectives and provide my opinion.
On the one hand, there are a number of reasons why people prefer to visit huge cities. Firstly, in a big city, they will experience advanced infrastructure and transportation.
Specifically, they can use high-speed trains and efficient subway systems to be more time-efficient. However, limited transport options in some countries can make travel challenging. Secondly, cities offer diverse entertainment options. To illustrate, cities offer theaters, nightclubs, and amusement parks. Conversely, the countryside may lack these entertainment hubs and be less vibrant.
On the other hand, there are a few reasons why people prefer calm, peaceful settings. Firstly, tranquil places offer a relaxing and stress-free atmosphere. To be specific, they’re sitting by a calm lake, watching the sunrise–no distractions. Meanwhile, cities are loud and busy, which can make people feel stressed. Secondly, traveling to rural areas is often more budget-friendly. For instance, staying in a country house is much cheaper than staying in a luxury hotel in the city. In contrast, the cost of accommodation, food, and entertainment is high in cities.
In my view, I personally favor travel to big towns for the aforementioned reasons. Some people enjoy traveling to big cities, while others prefer quiet, peaceful places. Discuss one of these viewpoints.
