Band 4+: Some people feel that the exploration of space justifies a large amount of government and private investment. Other people think that this field is of increasingly low relevance and should not be priority. Debate both sides of this discussion, and explain your own view. How important is it for us to explore space at the moment?

First of all, the space exploration was a dream for a lots of countries, it was a way for nation to have power of importance. In fact, thanks to the moon conquest, USA beeing more powerfull and had much more light. At this period, all countries want to be the firts one, this was like a race to the moon. Moreover, when USA put on the moon their flag, it was like a sign to say to all the world we won the race ! Howeover, thanks to the space conquest we can learn more about science, like in the ISS, Thomas Pesquet explain that they do some experiments in order to try some medicinal application or just medicine. Overall, doing experiments help human to create some remedy for hard disease. Moreover, explore space is a way to know where we could go after the end of earth, or to find another life form like alien or anything else.

Furthermore, the space conquest is interesting to help in medical problem or science but the conquest aspect is illogical. In fact, the Eart have a lot of problem, with fossil energy, animals extinction, climate chang…this is trully illogical for human to research things into space in despite to find some solution for our planet. Howeover, governments would have to give money to ecological way in order to help the Earth and the environment. Moreover, human want to explore the space in order to find another life sign or just a new planet, it’s look like the humanity want to change our planet like change shoes or clothes. In fact, human ignore the true problem and runs away to an other planet, but this is predictable, the next planet would have the same destiny than the Earth

At the end, in my opinion, the space exploration avoid humanity to learn more and more about science but the conquest aspect of it is for me useless, moreover for me our priority is to find solution to help our planet. Howeover, I agree on both side but not on all aspect, for me space conquest is important for science and knowledge in medical but just for this apsect. At the end, I think that government must have to give money for both side and trully no for only one side.
