Nowadays, too much attention is paid on the educational system of students. Some people think that government should fund more money for free time activities rather than education. While there are some good reasons to agree with this view, I’m completely against it.
On the one hand, prioritizing education is reasonably beneficial for both country and its society as a whole. For one thing, the more we allocate money on it, the more we ensure our future in advance. As for an example, we not only avoid having illiterate citizens, but also provide ourselves with intelligent, patriotic, and determined work force. Although having spare time is equally important for the child’s development, the government should not divert money from the educational opportunities. For example, school helps the kids develop basic skills that are required to succeed, including problem-solving, professional skills that also contribute to the economy of the country in many ways.
Furthermore, education is something that provides long-term investment that forms both personal and national prosperity. As the government divides money for education, it breaks the poverty cycle. For example, by supporting students with scholarships, free excess to extra courses, and textbooks, we let the kids choose their own way instead of giving the full control to the wealthy. Moreover, schools are already tech-equipped and with cutting the money, we fall behind science, engeniring, and medicine. Additionally, having funded institutes not only prepares us the educated labour force but also socially aware society. To be precise, the education system is the house of news, where students engage in discussions about global issues.
In conclusion, providing the society with high education pays off in the long run and it should not be a concern for others.
