Tourism destination has always been a controversial topic whether people should travel abroad or in their own country first. From my perspective, I would like to travel in my own country before going abroad due to several crucial explainations.
First, choosing visit local tourist spots could provide experiences and knowledges for visitors. It is a well-known fact that domestic trip is more common and easier to explore since it does not require as much skills as travelling worldwide. Therefore, people who even are in their first time travelling could be easy to booking and visiting without any worries about communication or conflicts with local residents as going to other countries may happen this situation. Moreover, those first local trips could help individuals be common with travelling that provide a range of experiences and lessons for one which are useful for other international travelling later.
Furthermore, one of the most significant reasons that people should know about their own culture and country before learning about others. Some believe that people may know clearly about other countries since they like going abroad and explore different regions, however, most of those do not fully understand about their own country or have been to all local areas. This practice could be a crucial area which may lead to a loss of local culture and misunderating the beauty of one’s own country. In addition, travelling in local toursit spots is one of the ways to promote country image to the world, taking advantages to local economy and foster the development of tourism.
In conclusion, despite the enjoyment of exploring new area, it is crucial to traveling in local spots before going abroad in order to collecting experiences and understanding fully their own hometown beauty places and culture.
