Nowadays, online-shops have been choosen by some people when purchasing some stuff. This essay aims to show both advantages and disadvantages of online shopping. I personally believe that this circumtance brings much benefits which outweigh the negative ones.
One the one hand, there have been a subtantial number of cases which happen because of online shopping. Firstly, some sellers in the market have become one of the bad impacts of online shopping that makes many citizens are lazier to buy goods in the domestic shops, resulting in bangkrupt. Some Sellers in one of the famous market in Indonesia, named “Pasar Tanah Abang, for example, have been bangkrupt because of people tend to buy some clothes in the tik-tok shops. In this case, however, I tend to believe that despite bringing offline-shops’ sellers into bangkrupt, online shopping has huge advantages to people.
On the other hand, the Advancement of technology has helped citizens in their daily routines, such as online-shops. One of the positive developments of this behavior is to aid people in purchasing goods more flexible and simple. COD (Cash On Delivery), for instance, an online shopping system which allows folks to purchase stuff when arriving at home, has made people more dependent on online shopping, as people should not go to market which results in tiring. This exemplifies that online shopping brings significant benefits for people.
In conclusion, it is undiniable that online shopping has brought bad impacts to some people, such as offline-shops’ sellers, however, it helps people in their daily routines due to the flexible and simple it brings.
