Many might find large company more attractive because of its opportunity and pay check while some may like to work in a small business. Both are good and each may have their own pros and cons. Personally, I would like to work in both size of businesses but if i had to choose between working in a small business or a large company, I would likely go to a large company.
Working in a small businesses may sound more quite. But personally I think in small businesses, employees and owners may have a stronger bond, which help new employees adapt faster and is beneficial for finding connections for future careers. Employees in small businesses may gain new knowledge and expirience since their working structure is more flexible. For example in a small business like a new cafe, employees may already have their own jobdesk but when one couldn’t attend work or is busy, other employees from another divison could be orderd to cover/help to fill in the missing job because the business is small and there’s only a few employees. Eventhough it may be tiring, but the expirince and skill the workers gain mey be more diverse. Personally I would like to have divrese expirience in my early career.
On the other hand, I believe working in large companies gives more opportunities, connections and may provide a larger salary. Large companies have more employees and staff which i could work together with. from working with others I get more expirience in teamwork and earn more skills that is learnt form other workers. But in bigger companies, they might have harder tasks, project and adapting may be more difficult especially if its an environment that mostly contains new people whom you never interacted with in the past. But eventhough it have some difficulties, large companies provides valuable expirience and can help to gain more connection.
So in conclusion, both types of business is beneficial but personally i find large companies is more beneficial in long term.
