It is often stated that overall health and life duration are not rely on eating habits and doing sports. I totally disagree with this view due to the fact that having a healthy diet and sufficient training are the best ways to keep in shape and live longer.
There are a large number of reasons that indicate a good diet can affect overall health. Using nutritious foods especially organic crops can be the best part of a diet which directly improves health. For example, a vegan diet including a wide range of vegetables can enrich the body with vast vitamins like vitamin A,E, and D. Whereas junk foods especially fast foods like pizza and burgers adversely impact the physical state. In other words, digestion of these types of foods is completely challenging for the stomach which leads to diseases like obesity. These harmful substances are absorbed by the body and subsequently decrease life time.
Another important point to consider is that physical activities can positively influence one’s health, especially outdoor activities and aerobics exercises. According to a research at Heidelberg University in Germany in 2019, doing exercises on a regular basis can enhance physical status. Moreover, working out is firmly related to mental health which is crucial to have a better life. Doing exercises leads to releasing chemical transmitters in our body like oxytocin which is significant to be happy.
To sum up, despite the argument that a good diet and exercise are not important for life length and quality, I would argue that they are the most vital factors in everyone’s life to stay healthy.
