People held different perspectives on whether the growthing of economy is the only way to finish world poverty along with starvation or it is destroying the environment and therefore, must be ended. While economic growth has drawbacks such as cutting trees and pollution, I believe that it has more benefits such as job creation and increased food production, which are the only ways to end the hunger.
It is believed that, economic growth leads to finishing of the poverty and hunger, which is vallid argument. As strong economy can invest in modern technologies to reduce the hunger. As a result, modern farming techniques will bring food and prevent the starvation, since it also could bring new jobs. When it comes to job, it is salient that economic growth creates businesses, leading to jobs that lift people out of poverty. For example, in Japan, after witnessing the inceasement of economy, the new types of job started to appear as a result of investments on new technologies. Consequently, people had to go for new jobs in order to earn vasive amount of money.
On the other hand, some inividuals think that economic growth have negative consequences including environmental issues such as deforestaton and pollution. Rapid development often destroys forests and increases air and water pollution. Nevertheless, i beleive that, the advantages of economic growth surpass the disadvantages, because environemental issues could be adressed by modern technologies. While it is true that development of new devices could damage the environment, it could also help to recreate the world in a better way. Air and water pollution could be tackled throught Artificial intelligence that can recycle anything and absorb the filth air. For example, in developed countries such as Norway, people utilize technologies in order to prevent the environmental issues.
In conclusion, the population could be benefited from economic growth as it creates jobs and prevent hunger, whereas the argument which says it damages the nature and environment, is not valid since it could be coped as a result of new technologies.
