Some individuals believe that for receiving information, libraries play a crucial role in society. Others say that as digital devices are getting developed, libraries are a waste of financial recourse. Although, getting information from books has its advantages, I believe spending time in libraries is waste of time and it is sometimes expensive.
In our face-paced world, many people prefer obtaining information through social media rather than books. In the past people used to go to libraries frequently to find valuable sources and information. As a result, they spent huge amount of their times in libraries only for searching accurate and correct information related to their work. Currently, we are living in era that people use their gadgets in their every steps. As a result it helps people to find information easily without spending to much time in anywhere and anytime. Moreover, many libraries requires some cost for usage of books. For example, if someone working on some special project and when they try to find information from books, sometimes they can not find correct sources, they just end up with no certain information. Finding information through social media always offers accurate information and clear explanations.
On the other hand, libraries always offer friendly environment to people. For instance, if someone visit to library for reading books or finding information, they have to ask for help to find a correct book from others. People always have to be in communication with others in libraries. Also people can easily make friends in libraries through face-to-face interactions. Furthermore, people not always can find accurate information in social media, sometimes some books may require extra charge for usage. In libraries, individuals usually can find advanced books based on special field and also accurate data.
In conclusion, while getting information through libraries offer face-to-face communication in friendly environment and advanced books. I am of the opinion that using social media in receiving information always provides with less time and affordable options.
