It is argue that the government should allocates public funds to art projects like sculptures for public display in outdoor places. From my perspective, I partly agree with this view because its can make the public places look more appealling and artract tourist.
On the one hand, I think the government should spends money for large pieces of art. This is mainly because it can enhances the aesthetic appeal of public spaces and makes an art accessible to the wider public. For example, the government can commission monumental sculptures and fund large-scale public artworks to foster public appreciation of the art. Moreover, it can tranform dull urban landscapes serve as cultural landmarks, since then promote cultural engagement among citizens and artract tourist. As a result, invest in large-scale art can bring lots of benefit both in these places and the citizens.
On the other hand, I believe that its unnecessary spending to much cost for an art in outdoor places. This can be explained by the fact that the government should spends money for prioritise essential public services or address pressing social needs. For example, the government can invest in the public transports or upgrade facilities, which contributes to improve citizen’s quality of life. Result in, the authorities should strikes a balance between cultural investment and essential spending.
