It begin, due to the advancement of technology and internet facilities though people are coming together virtually however they are parting emotionally and physically. Nowadays, people spent more of their time in social media and they surround themselves with gadget and technologies. They rarely go outside and interact with people and socialize with them rather they just leave a message. People are isolating themselves from social interaction. They enjoy chatting with their friends rather than outing which is major reason for loneliness. It has a huge impact on the mental health of children due to which these days many people suffering dreadful disease like depression, anxiety. People spent hours in browsing in internet and waste their time in video games and other things. It reported that every many children does suicide because of depression in my country and one main reason behind it is doom scrolling of social media.
However, despite of demerits it is not devoid its advantages. Development of internet facilities makes the way of living a lot easier nowadays. It is best way of communication possibilities world-wide. It is making whole world a single home. Because of social media platform we can talk with anyone from anywhere. It easy, convenient and fast and people are a click away from their loved ones. Due this it easier to make new friends and interact with them and if we want see them, then we can have screen time with them.
In conclusion, though internet facilities has impact on social interaction but bringing people together virtually.
