Some people say that charging museums is better while others oppose. I personally believe its benefits far outweigh the drawbacks as it offers a good deal of money to invest in museums, however, less people may enter them.
Advantages of charging museums are significant. First, it offers a good deal of money to bring new artifacts or to develop design of museums since people have to pay money in order to enter and observe artifacts, administrations start to keep track of incoming money and they may save for a while and they can use this money to develop museums’ inner or outer facades. For example, my friend’s father has a huge museum in Russia. At first, their museum was not so popular, however, they decided to start requiring entrance fees from people, then, after a year, it led their museum to become popular because of the yearly investment which they used to improve museums’ design and to bring new arts and ancient tools from abroad.
Secondly, requiring entrance fees can prevent overcrowds compared to museums with no charge. As entering requires money, limited numbers of people can enter museums and it may indeed prevent from damaging tools and arts in museums because if there would be so many people without any limit, they can break some historical maneuvers or monuments.
Although there is a minor drawback that should be considered, requiring entrance fees to museums may reduce the number of people who want to observe these museums because they need to prioritize their money on family provision, though it can be solved if museums make their charges cost-efficient, which all group of people can access to these museums.
To sum up, some people say putting entrance charges to museums is required. I believe its advantages outstrip its drawbacks since it offers a good deal of money to invest museums and may prevent overcrowd.
