Band 6+: Some people say that no one should be allowed to work after the ageo f 65. Others say that people should be allowed to work for as long as they want. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

The debate surrounding whether people should retire from work has garnered considerable attention. Others argue that people more than 65 years old are not allowed to work anymore, while some people believe they are permitted to work during his life. Although both perspectives have merit, I firmly advocate that the elderly ought to stop working in order to give an opportunity for the young generations.

On the one hand, People who are more than 65 need to rest at home due to their physical weakness. They need to give a chance to the youths to replace their position in their workforce which can lead to regeneration at work setting. As a result, companies can grow rapidly since they have strong and fast workers. Furthermore, some workplaces believe that old people tend to be an obstacle in some of their projects because of their decreasing ability in working. To illustrate, many companies get less profit because of their old employees’ sluggishness. Hence, the necessities of young people are more needed than the old ones.

On the other hand, it is essential to acknowledge that senior workers have massive experiences to handle issues in their workforce. For example, when a corporation gets a complaint from society, it is more often handled by those who have been working for many years. In addition, the aged must not be retired from their jobs unless they have been provided other jobs which can help them to fulfill their daily needs. Moreover, they will feel uneasy without doing anything since they used to work in the past.

In conclusion, while many old people have their extensive participation in solving problems at the workplace, I maintain that the renewal at the work setting is the solution yet by considering the alternative jobs offered for those old people.
