In this current era, technology becomes advance and it impacts almost aspect of life, including education. This technology leads many schools to provide online learning and grows some debates about it. This essay will discuss about two opinion about online and offline courses. Firstly, the favoritism about online courses rise due to affordable prices and unlimited class. Secondly, the disadvantage of offline learning.
In terms of learning, online courses provide numerous courses that student can access randomly. Futhermore, an online class can be saved and watched anytime and anywhere. Some online class providers also offer discount for some courses to attract people more. From this point of view, it becomes combo advantages for student who can learning everywhere, without being scare of missing class and save their money wisely.
While online class become popular, offline class show the opposite. Since covid-19 hit the world massively, all schools moves to online learning. After the pandemic is gone, some institutions keep staying with the internet methods. However, there are several issues about online class, In Jakarta Post, one of well-known newspaper in Indonesia states that 80% of Indonesian pupils has failed to understand the subject in online class. There is no strict guide to understand the school material directly and some students face bad internet connection while study. Sadly, students from underprivilege family cannot attend all classes due to economic crisis. This situation becomes crucial since Ministry Of Education in Indonesia mentions that its affect academic levels as a whole.
To sum up, I believe that technology helps people to study comfortably. However, we need to boost our young generation academic levels directly.
