Parents have different views with the growth of their children. Some feel that their children should join the organized group activities in their free time, while others argue that they should learn how to occupy themselves on their own. In my opinion, parents can discuss with their children and try to support their choice.
On the one hand, some people recommend the organized group activities to their children. They believe that their children can experience and learn how to cooperate with members or deal with conflict in the group. It is helpful and good for their growth. Since our society consists of many groups. Children have to involve any group for some day. It is not possible to work without any people in society.
On the other hand, some others think that people should learn how to solve problems by themselves. They will grow up and need the independent ability for some day. It is a good timing to train their mental and build their personality at the childhood. For example, some problem is extremely difficult and unsolvable by many people. This kind of challenge is suitable for someone who can work independently.
In conclusion, both sides are reasonable to me. From my own perspective, it is based on what kind of personality their parents and children want. The personality can be introvert or extrovert. Parents don’t need to worry and push their children too much. It would be better to let them make the decision and respect them.
