In today is rapidly changing world, some individuals believe that technology has a wholly positive effect on social life of adolescents. While technology has brought about significant advantages to various aspects of our lives, I firmly believe that it is not without possible drawbacks.
One the one hand, proponents of technology cite various reasons to support their stance. Firstly, technology offers enhanced efficiency and productivity. In other words, social networking platforms, messaging app,and video chat services enable teenagers to connect and communicate with their peers, family, and regardless of geographical barriers. This has fostered stronger relationships and provided a sense of connectivity and belonging. Moreover, technology has given teenagers the tools to express their creativity through platforms like social media, YouTube, and blogging. They can showcase their talents, share their thoughts and ideas.
On the other hand, technology does a lot of harm that we should not ignore. To commence, spending excessive time in front of screens can contribute to a sedentary lifestyle, reducing physical activity levels among teenagers. This can lead to various health issues, including obesity, cardiovascular problems, and poor overal fitness. In addition, constant exposure to social media and online platforms can negatively impact teenagers mental health. It can lead to feelings of inadequacy, anxiety, and depression as they compare themselves to carefully curated as well as idealized portrayals on the internet.
In conclusion, Based on all the information above, I understand that technology provides clear advantages, but it is disadvantages should also be taken into consideration
