Many people believe that the government should invest more financial resources in science and technology instead of other areas. While I agree that science and technology bring more innovations, improving economic success, I also think that other areas, such entertainment pursuits are also necessary in life.
On the one hand, investing in science and technology is crucial to modern society, driving innovation and economic growth. Countries that support scientific research, such as the US and Japan, can develop technologies that boost productivity and create new industries, creating a number of jobs. For example, Tesla Inc., in USA has introduced high-tech technologies like robots and AI to speed up it’s production process. This helps improves efficiencies, enabling the organization to manufacture more units and earn more money.
On the other hand, apart from technological advancement, the government has to focus on other key areas too. The authority should facilitate entertainment opportunities so that citizens can improve their mental and emotional well-being.
The government ought to/ should facilitate cultural programs, such as musical festivals. Cultural centres such as, museums, art galleries, zoos, and theatres can connect people together where they can enjoy a positive social life with new friends. For instance, in Brazil, the government has established numerous sports centers in the communities. Citizens can indulge themselves in sports and gossips, which help refresh their minds.
In conclusion, although technological innovations drive economic progress, other areas like entertainment pursuits should also be considered. Therefore, both areas should be equally valued to enjoy a fulfilling and balanced life.
