Here detrimental content in the internet is big concern. sothat, many people argue that, to use internet safely government need to check the content of websites. i strongly believe the stands of the public but we should also alert that in the name of censorship as if government could not restrict useful website access.
in one hand, internet is being used by children, adult, older all ages people. so all the contents are not safe or relevant to all users. such as, if children watch adult video then it could be harmful for them. there are so many web contents which are misleading, fabrigative and provoking. To ensure proper societal and friendly environment those types of webpages should be banned by the government. For instance, there are some content which spread militancy, that could breake relegious and totalaterian environments in the communities. In that case those sites need to be restricted by the government authorities. In addition, Government can enact cyber security laws as well.
on the other hand, sometimes, in the name of security governemt might be showen autocratic behaviour by imposing embargo in accessing some websites. Such as, critical blog or indipendent opinion webpage where intellectuals can write contructive artical. so, citizens should be aware about government measuers.
