On the contrary, there are many drawbacks that we should mention. Firstly, instead of spending too much money on conservation, there are many benefits that people could use to improve the quality of their own life. Nowadays, people have to face up with numerous problems including poor living conditions, inadequate infrastructure and unemployment. Therefore, using money to run environmental projects instead of improving the quality of people’s lives is unreasonable. For instance, while people in Africa are suffering from the lack of food, in Europe and other developed countries, there is too much attention on the environment. Moreover, too much intervention from humans will unbalance the development of the ecosystem naturally. Intervention by humans can not only disrupt natural ecosystems processes but also cause pollution.
Taking everything into consideration, although there are many disadvantages of focusing on the conservation of the nature but i wholeheartedly believe that investment should be given to this cause for benefit of all because preserving wildlife has significant benefits.
