In today’s digital age, it is often said that printed books, newspapers, and magazines are becoming less important due to the growth of modern technology. I completely agree with this statement. In this essay, I will discuss two reasons for supporting my point of view.
There are a number of reasons why i believe that printed materials are losing their value to technology. One major reason is the convenience of digital reading. Nowadays, people can access a wide range of books and news articles through their smartphones, tablets, or computers. This makes reading more flexible, as they can read anytime and anywhere without carrying heavy books or newspapers. For example, many individuals prefer reading e-books or online news while traveling, which saves time and effort. Therefore, digital platforms are quickly replacing printed materials because it is easy to use and carry.
Another reason is that online news is very fast. Printed newspapers are only made once a day, but online news changes every minute. This helps people know the latest news as soon as it happens. For instance, during a major event, news websites and social media instant updates, which printed media cannot match. As a result, many people don’t depend on traditional newspapers anymore to get the latest news and current events. A huge crisis is going on in the country while online media or reporters show it after a while, but newspapers post this same thing the next day.
In conclusion, I strongly believe that printed books and newspapers are becoming less important in today’s modern world. This is mainly because digital platforms offer easier access and provide information much faster than printed sources.
