Everyone has a different oppinions about how to rise a child. Some people believe that instead of only parents raising a child, the whole family should be involved, including the grandparents, uncles and aunts. This brings up the question: ‘Do children get advantaged by having multiple perspectives while growing up, or can this have negative concequences?’ In this essay I will explain why I believe that it is important to let your family be involved with the child’s life, but why only parents should rase their child.
Since children oftenly are shy with people they do not know well enough, it might be important to involve the child’s family with it’s life. Think about visiting the family members, or inviting them at your home. In this way, thay can learn how to interact with other people, since everyone has different personalities. Furthermore, recent research found out that a good relationship with familymembers, can help children feel more secure about their personality. This is because they feel that they get appreciated by people other than their own parents.
However, I believe that it can be harmfull for a child to get rased by family members, since it can become extremely confusing. This, because when children are younger they are not aware enough to know wether ideas are good or not. Since it is rare for people to have the same ideas, it can result into not knowing if something is true. Besides, if children will not completely being grown by their own parents, the relationship can become weaker than what it could have been. Specifically this relationship is important for many children, due to the fact that they have someone they can trust and talk to.
In conclusion, involving children with their family while they are growing up, can be a good way to let them discover about others and feel more secure about themselves. However, I believe it could be harmfull for a parents-child relantionship. As a result, it could become possible for children to not have someone to trust enough, to tell everyting. This is why I think involving family in the infants life is important, although it has to be raised by the parents itself.
