It is often argued that, how crucial is it to have an university degree for working in a company. Some people have opinion about having an university degree is the most important criteria to get a good job. In contradict, others think skill and experience are more important than a diploma. This essay contains both opinions and also it contains my point of view on this topic.
The general opinion of this topic is that, having a college degree is the securest way to have a good job. At the end of the day, the idea is correct on a point. In addition, university degree is the first document that a worker should have it when they start a job on a company. For example, the most of the companies, especially the biggest ones, ask for a diploma in their job interview.
The other people think that, experience and skills more important than a simple paper. Moreover, this is a true statement after all. The situation that, having a knowledge of the work, has a critic role on hiring process. I believe that, the human resources departments in companies think the same way with this opinion. For instance, some LinkedIn job posts have a statement that, “candidate have to has at least 2 years of experience”. There is no doubt that, having a past of the topic has serious impact on hiring.
Taking everything into account, having a college diploma is significantly helps the job finding process. However, from my point of view, the most crucial factor is having work experience in a job. I believe, experienced people who work for a company, will be more efficient and effective for the company. Furthermore, having a university degree is not a must case, in my opinion.
