On the one hand, giving freedom helps children make decisions independently. When children are allowed to make their own decisions, they can learn to take responsibility for their actions and analyze the consequences of their choices. For example, allowing children to use pocket money can improve their financial skills by managing their expenditures. Moreover, children can also create the ability to creativity. By this, they can find their interests and talents without strict parental expectations.
On the other hand, parental controls play a vital role in their children’s lives. Through parental assistance, children’s lives become productive and disciplined. For instance, by setting clear limits for screens and bedtimes, parents promote healthy habits and time management skills. Moreover, parents can also assist their children with preventing their harmful content consumption.
From my point of view, while freedom for children affects their decision-making abilities, parental controls must be vital for their future success. Children’s character and behavior at young ages contribute to their careers. It is also worth noting that, helicopter parenting is not a valuable approach, so they should avoid using this performance.
To sum up, parents take a balanced format, not be overparenting. Instead, they need to deal with their issues.
