Nowdays, some people believe that children could use all the innovative ways to get entertained about stories of any genre and from any type source. Although it is very common among kids to use every kind of source, such as books, films and Tv, some parents affirm that telling stories to their children is more constructive.
Narrating tales, for people who believe that is necessary, it is not just a story-telling from which a child learn something new, but it is led to a family concept. When a father or a mother recounts a story to their child, they are indirectly creating a tight knit relations with him, because he is getting inspired by them, as a parent is the first inspiration for their child.
On the other hand, due to the enormous technological development, many parents prefer exploiting it and use videos, films and other sources to make their children listen better structured stories. They believe that, using this means, give more opportunities to little ones to learn something new perhaps out of their reach. Some parent think that show a child-adapted scientific documentary on Tv is much more helpful and productive than listen a story by them before going to bed. In the same way, they believe that reading a book has more effect on the child, because they acquire new useful skills.
Altough i believe that there is no better situations in which a child feel his connection to his parents when them recount a story or an experience, it is fundament to encourage children to read books, to listen podcasts and to watch films so that thay can develop constructive hobbies froma young age.
